What to tell us
Four things get you a useful answer first time.
Your dates, and whether they’re fixed or flexible. How many people are coming, and whether any of them are children. Which trip length you want, or say you’re not sure and we’ll suggest one. And what you’d like to catch, if you have a preference.
That last one matters more than people expect. Targeting redfish on a shallow flat and targeting flounder on a channel edge are different mornings, and knowing which you want changes where we start.
What happens next
We reply with availability and confirm the trip length and the price. A deposit holds the date, and until it arrives the date isn’t reserved. What each trip costs sets out the deposit and the cancellation terms.
The evening before your trip we text you the meeting point and the time. Both depend on wind and tide, so we hold that decision until the forecast is clear rather than committing early and hoping.
On the day, bring your fishing licence and the few things on the list of what you’ll need. Everything else is on the boat.
Before you book
Worth knowing three things. We fish inshore only, so if you’re after offshore species this isn’t the right boat and we’ll say so rather than take the booking.
We take one group at a time. The boat isn’t shared, which means the day is planned around your party, and it also means a date that’s gone is gone.
And we don’t guarantee catches. Nobody honestly can. What we’ll do is put you on water that holds fish and tell you straight what the conditions will support.
